These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Medlife24 Sağlık Teknolojileri Ltd. Şti. ("Medlife24," "we," "us"), governing access to and use of the Platform available at medlife24.com (the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
1. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms:
"Clinic User" means an individual who registers an account on the Platform on behalf of a healthcare provider.
"Content" means any text, images, data, listings, descriptions, pricing information, photographs, and other materials submitted, uploaded, or otherwise made available through the Platform.
"Listing" means the published profile of a healthcare provider on the Platform, including all Content associated with that profile.
"Subscription" means a paid plan under which a Clinic User obtains the right to display a Listing on the Platform.
"USHAŞ" means the Uluslararası Sağlık Hizmetleri A.Ş., established under Turkish Law No. 7367.
"Visitor" means any individual who accesses the Platform without holding a registered account.
2. Nature of the Service
The Platform is an online directory and discovery service. It enables Clinic Users to publish Listings describing their services and enables Visitors to identify and contact healthcare providers in Turkey.
Medlife24 is not a healthcare provider. Medlife24 does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or referral services. Nothing on the Platform constitutes a medical recommendation or a doctor-patient relationship.
Medlife24 is not an intermediary for healthcare services. Communications, appointments, payments for treatment, and the provision of any clinical service occur directly between the Visitor and the relevant healthcare provider. Medlife24 is not a party to those interactions.
Medlife24 verifies registration, not clinical quality.Where we display verification badges (including badges indicating registration with USHAŞ), we have confirmed that the relevant clinic has self-declared the corresponding registration and that the registration number, where publicly verifiable, appears on the relevant authority's public records. We do not assess clinical quality, staff credentials, treatment outcomes, or fitness for any particular purpose.
3. Eligibility
The Platform is available to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under the laws of their jurisdiction.
To register a Clinic Account, you must additionally:
- act on behalf of a healthcare provider legally established in Turkey;
- be authorized by that healthcare provider to bind it to these Terms;
- provide accurate and complete registration information; and
- maintain that information in current form.
4. Clinic Accounts
4.1 Account Registration
Clinic Account registration requires the provision of identifying information about the clinic and at least one authorized representative. Information submitted during registration must be accurate, complete, and not misleading.
4.2 Account Security
Clinic Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activity occurring under those credentials. Medlife24 must be notified promptly at security@medlife24.com of any actual or suspected unauthorized access to an account.
4.3 Listing Content
Clinic Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of all Content submitted as part of their Listing. Content must not:
- be false, misleading, or deceptive;
- infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party;
- contain unauthorized photographs of identifiable individuals;
- promote services that the clinic is not authorized to provide;
- contain pricing information that the clinic does not intend to honor; or
- include claims regarding clinical outcomes that cannot be substantiated.
Medlife24 reserves the right to review, edit, or remove Listings that, in our reasonable judgment, do not comply with these requirements.
4.4 Verification Status
Clinic Users may submit documentation supporting claims of USHAŞ registration, JCI accreditation, or similar certifications. Medlife24 will review such documentation in accordance with the procedures set out at https://medlife24.com/verification-process. Verification status, once granted, may be revoked at any time if the underlying registration or accreditation lapses, is revoked, or is found to have been misrepresented.
5. Subscriptions
5.1 Subscription Tiers
Listings are available on the subscription tiers described at https://medlife24.com/pricing. The features and pricing applicable to each tier are set out in the description of that tier at the time of subscription.
5.2 Billing
Subscription fees are processed by iyzico Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
5.3 Price Changes
Medlife24 may modify subscription pricing on 60 days' notice to affected Clinic Users. Where pricing changes apply, Clinic Users may cancel before the new pricing takes effect by following the cancellation procedure set out in Section 5.5.
5.4 Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection legislation. Partial months are not pro-rated.
5.5 Cancellation
Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through the account management interface. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period; the Listing will remain accessible until that date.
5.6 Failed Payments
If a scheduled payment fails, Medlife24 will attempt to charge the payment method on file up to three additional times over a period of seven days. If all attempts fail, the Listing will be suspended; the account will be terminated if payment is not resolved within 14 days of suspension.
6. Acceptable Use
In connection with use of the Platform, you must not:
- use the Platform for any purpose that is unlawful under Turkish law or the law of your jurisdiction of residence;
- impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- submit Listings on behalf of clinics that have not authorized you to do so;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or any associated systems;
- access the Platform through automated means (including scrapers, bots, and crawlers) except as expressly permitted by our robots.txt file;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any portion of the Platform;
- introduce malware, viruses, or other malicious code into the Platform;
- collect or harvest personal data of other users; or
- use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial communications.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Medlife24 IP
The Platform, including all software, design elements, the Medlife24 name and logo, and all original content created by Medlife24, is the property of Medlife24 and is protected by Turkish and international intellectual property laws. No license to use any of the foregoing is granted by these Terms except as expressly stated.
7.2 Clinic User Content
Clinic Users retain ownership of Content they submit. By submitting Content, Clinic Users grant Medlife24 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute such Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. This license terminates upon deletion of the relevant Content, except to the extent reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations or to defend against claims.
7.3 Trademark Use
The names, logos, and trademarks of clinics displayed on the Platform are the property of the relevant clinics. Medlife24 displays such marks for the purpose of identifying and describing each clinic's Listing.
8. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEDLIFE24 DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF INFORMATION.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, MEDLIFE24 DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (i) THE PLATFORM WILL BE AVAILABLE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERROR; (ii) LISTINGS DISPLAYED ON THE PLATFORM ARE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE; (iii) ANY CLINIC LISTED ON THE PLATFORM WILL DELIVER SERVICES OF ANY PARTICULAR QUALITY; OR (iv) THE PLATFORM IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEDLIFE24 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO USE OF THE PLATFORM;
- THE CONDUCT, ACTS, OR OMISSIONS OF ANY CLINIC LISTED ON THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING ANY MEDICAL TREATMENT PROVIDED BY ANY SUCH CLINIC; OR
- ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE INACCURACY OF CONTENT SUBMITTED BY CLINIC USERS.
IN NO EVENT SHALL MEDLIFE24'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR USE OF THE PLATFORM EXCEED THE GREATER OF (i) ONE HUNDRED EURO (€100) OR (ii) THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO MEDLIFE24 IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by Medlife24's negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including non-waivable consumer rights under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502.
10. Indemnification
Clinic Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Medlife24, its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claim, demand, loss, or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:
- the Clinic User's breach of these Terms;
- the Clinic User's submission of Content that is inaccurate, misleading, or that infringes the rights of any third party;
- any service provided by the Clinic User to any patient introduced through the Platform; or
- the Clinic User's violation of any applicable law or regulation.
11. Suspension and Termination
11.1 Termination by Clinic User
Clinic Users may terminate their accounts at any time as described in Section 5.5.
11.2 Termination by Medlife24
Medlife24 may suspend or terminate any account, with or without notice, where:
- the account holder has materially breached these Terms;
- the account holder has provided false or misleading information;
- the account is being used in connection with illegal activity;
- a regulatory authority has directed such action; or
- continued operation of the account presents a material risk to the Platform or its users.
Where suspension or termination is exercised under this Section 11.2 other than for cause set out in clauses (b)–(e), Medlife24 will provide 14 calendar days' notice setting out the reasons.
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, the Listing will be removed from the Platform. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, and 14) shall so survive.
12. Modifications to These Terms
Medlife24 may modify these Terms from time to time. Where modifications materially affect the rights or obligations of Clinic Users, notice will be provided by email at least 30 calendar days before the modifications take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of modifications constitutes acceptance. Clinic Users who do not accept modified Terms may terminate their accounts as described in Section 5.5; termination on this basis entitles the Clinic User to a pro-rated refund of any subscription fees paid for the period following the effective date of the modifications.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul Çağlayan, Turkey, except that consumers domiciled in the European Union retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their member state of domicile to the extent required by applicable consumer protection legislation.
14. General
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Medlife24 regarding the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
14.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14.3 No Waiver
Failure by Medlife24 to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Medlife24 may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets.
14.5 Notices
Notices to Medlife24 must be sent to legal@medlife24.com. Notices to Clinic Users will be sent to the email address associated with the account.
14.6 Language
These Terms have been prepared in English. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience only; in the event of any discrepancy, the English version prevails.
